Jesse Wolstein, M.D., M.A.

Biography

Jesse Wolstein is a physician certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He has been an attending physician with Vassar Brothers Medical Center and Health Alliance of Hudson Valley since 2018, in the general and the pediatric emergency departments, where his practice covers triage and rapid assessment, physical examination, diagnosis and treatment planning, the stabilization of emergency conditions and the procedures of emergency medicine, from airway management and central venous access to fracture and dislocation reduction, wound repair, point-of-care ultrasound, and sepsis, stroke, trauma and toxicology management. He completed his residency at Morristown Medical Center (2015 to 2018) after earning his Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College, where he had earlier worked as a laboratory technician. In 2025 he joined KWVRS as its Chief Medical Director and medical expert and as a vocational and life care planning consultant evaluator. His work at the firm includes medical evaluations, medical cost projections, life care planning assessments and reports, the analysis of needs and costs for home care services, loss of household services analyses using the Dollar Value of a Day and American Time Use Survey methodology, labor market surveys, job analysis reports and transferable skills analyses, vocational and employability evaluations, diagnostic interviews in personal injury and matrimonial cases, and the assessment of vocational and educational history and earning capacity. His emergency medicine practice is the clinical background he brings to the documentation of medical restrictions and disabling conditions. He completed a counseling practicum and a rehabilitation counseling internship at KWVRS in 2025. He holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling and Disability Sciences from the University of South Florida (2025), a Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College (2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey (2008), and is a Certified Life Care Planner. His three research articles, published between 2010 and 2012 and listed below, concern kidney fibrosis and regeneration and corneal inflammation in mouse models.
