RAPEL is an acronym used in forensic vocational evaluation to organize the analysis of a person's post-injury work life: Rehabilitation plan, Access to the labor market, Placeability, Earning capacity, and Labor force participation. It does not produce a number by itself. It is a framework that orders the questions an evaluator must answer and ties each answer to documented evidence, so the resulting opinion can be followed and tested by either side.
